Guilds and Leadership

Like all Episcopal churches, the Church of the Atonement has an elected body of parishoners who provide oversight and leadership for our congregation and community. The current Vestry includes:

Senior Warden: Timothy Miller

Junior Warden: Tammy Enockson

Treasurer: Mike Trumbold

Members: Marissa Baker, Gregory Bradley, Kent Haag, Helen Lambin, Christopher Raley, Elizabeth Sarnik, Margaret Sullivan, Br. William White, CMJ, Leo Williams

Interim Rector:  The Rev. Daniel Dice

Altar Guild

Members of Atonement's Altar Guild work to ensure all of the liturgical vesssels and linens are maintained and available to celebrate mass.  From making the silver shine to washing and ironing the altar linens, this group of committed parishioners are the behind-the-scene helpers that make our masses and special services meaningful. Email the Altar Guild.

Coffee Hour Guild

Each Sunday, members of the congregation host a Coffee Hour following the 11:00am mass. The Coffee Hour Guild provides the beverages and hosts provide snacks.  This is a great way for newcomers to meet parishioners and for friends to share fellowship over a cup of coffee or glass of juice. Email the Coffee Hour Coordinator.

Endowment Guild

Established in 2009, the Endowment Guild is charged with managing the endowment fund (through a professional brokerage firm), and ensuring that parishioners and friends of Atonement are made aware of the fund and how it exists as a way to protect the future of our parish. Parishioners and friends may give to the endownment fund to memorialize a loved one, to give in remembrance of a special event, or to possibly name the Church of the Atonement as a beneficiary in your will. Email the Endowment Guild.

Finance Guild

The Financial Guild meets nearly every month, just prior to the monthly meeting of the Vestry.  The Financial Guild reviews the financial statements with the Treasurer each month and looks to identify trends, either in expenses or income, which the Vestry needs to be aware of and possibly take action. When necessary, the Financial Guild reminds parishioners to keep their pledges current and monitors the alignment of budget allocations and expenses for each line item.

Hospitality Guild

Church of the Atonement has an amazing group of culinary experts (and bartenders!) who plan, organize and execute special events with flair and excitement. Thanks to the Hospitality Guild, Atonement events look like 5-star catered soirees where friends - old and new - feel special!

Outreach Guild

Members of Atonement's Outreach Guild look for opportunities to exemplify Christ's love tp one another.  The Outreach Guild works with local shelters and organizations to feed their residents and clients, provides backpacks and supplies to needy students in our local schools, participates in organized events (like walks and runs) to bring attention to the needs of persons living with chronic disease or conditions, and supports national and local Episcopal charity organizations in accomplishing their worthy missions. Email the Outreach Guild.

Preservation and Restoration Guild

The Church of the Atonement is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the preservation of our buildings requires a logical and complete plan for maintaining and restoring our beautiful property. The Restoration and Preservation Guild supports the ongoing assessment of our buildings and how best to maintain them. Email the Preservation Restoration Guild.
